When you found a startup, three pillars are crucial for success: team, product, market.

Building on these pillars, the founding team has to establish the product or service on the market with a lot of passion, commitment and strategic competence, expand the team and increase sales and profits to scale month by month.

My own experience is that the market has to form the basis, the product can adapt over time, but the elementary component is clearly the team. Investors primarily invest in teams if they are set up in a promising way. Heterogeneity in the founding team is the key word here!
