What could be nicer than a last surf session just before sunset?! Sitting in the line up watching the bright day slowly turn into a dark night with the setting sun and the surfers becoming only too dark outlines next to you has a calming effect on you.

Minute by minute, the blue tones of the waves with their white foam crowns transform into darker colors until they, too, are embraced by the night.

Take one last wave and then a hot shower to warm up. The fish dish flanked by a cool Vinho Verde feels somehow deserved afterwards.
