From the series: Long Journey

When I was in my early twenties, I went to Valencia every now and then while studying in Freiburg. A city that somehow captivated us and we immediately became a part of it. Even if the visits to I&M were only short, they will be remembered forever. Simply a very livable city right on the Mediterranean. In particular, the historic old town parts such as El Carme seem architecturally like they are from another time. Usually more attractive from the outside than from the inside. ;)

Of course, as students, we also thrived at night and one or two flying oranges were spotted being thrown long distances after wild parties.

Valencia didn't really blow me away in terms of cuisine back then and it was more the drinks that stayed in my memory. A Quinto with the tapas or then the Agua de Valencia, which I enjoyed again at the quick stop in 2022?! Maybe it was also due to our tight budget as students...

Next time I'll try out some more culinary delights. See you soon!
