From the series: Long Journey

The artwork is characterized by vibrant shades of purple and pink, representing the lively and captivating atmosphere of the beach I often visited as a child. The Bjørnebækshuset, a thatched-roof house located directly on the beach of Zealand Island, was a place filled with unforgettable memories. Surrounded by dense forests, a soft sandy shore, and deep blue waters, it provided a dreamlike setting.

As the sunset casts the sky in delicate shades of rosé, this transition is reflected in the artwork. It marks the shift into the black of night, untouched by city lights, creating a mysterious and serene atmosphere. The dark blue hues symbolize the deep waters stretching before the beach house, while the black elements convey the silence and tranquility of the night.

"Bjørnebækshuset" invites the viewer to immerse themselves in my childhood memories and experience the unique ambiance of this special place. The artwork serves as a reminder of the importance of discovering such unforgettable locations and cherishing moments of peace and natural beauty.
